BeardedAvenger (1027) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2017
Cask at Rose & Thistle, Frimley Green. Nil aroma. Copper as advertised. The bubbly white head just clings to the inside of the glass. Initially I was surprised how sugary sweet it was. It then gained a bitterness which come to the fore. Underlying sweetness though. Thin bodied. Some slickness. Light carb. Slightly astringent finish. OK - aftertaste leaves a bad taste though...

Tried at the Three stags Bennington. Mahogany colour with a cream coloured creamy head. Sweet malty aroma and taste that has caramel and fruity hints. Light caramel sweet and medium to full body.

Fine dark colour - less hoppy than suggested - more biscuit, with dark notes...would recommend

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2017 Amber with off white head. Slightly spicy with nice sweet hops and caramel and nutty hints. Fair strength. Second pint another day revealed fruity hints. Nice Old English ale. Refreshing.

Cask Pint at Willoughby Arms, Kingston in Dec 2016 - Clear Copper in colour. Off-white head. Fair lacing. Malty; toasty malts, caramel, nuts. Fruity; orange citrus, quite syrupy. Bit spicy. Hoppy; slight hops. Sweet very malty and medium fruity throughout. Drinkable. (2016-12-12)

Expertly layered with a hopy sweet punch. Very lightly carbonated with a welcomed amber glow.

ianwelby (1476) - SCOTLAND - OCT 26, 2016
Clear amber beer, thin off-white head. Spicy fruit at the top of both the smell and the taste. Light biscuity malt and then some lingering, sour hoppiness. A very serviceable bitter.

kwik-lime (2012) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2015
Cask at the North Star, Chessington. Slightly spicy, some fruit, hints of earthy hop but mainly malty bitter. Nice.

Iznogud (4066) - CROATIA - NOV 6, 2014
Cask at the Last Drop, Edinburgh. Pours amber with white head. Fruity, caramel, toffee. On the sweet side.

Seffle (464) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - NOV 1, 2014
Draft at 'The Flag', Watford. Pours a nice clear dark copper with a weak head. Malty nose with a nice ale taste. Typical engl ale. Good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
