Cask at GBBF 2017, day 3 - London. Pours clear copper with a creamy, khaki head. The aroma holds ripening berries, lightly toasted biscuits, hints of toffee. Light-medium sweet flavour with more pleasant biscuity character, toffee, berries, English yeast. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with further bready malts, berries, sugar, simple bread. Fun ESB. Beerhunter111 (22550) - P´Castle, GERMANY - AUG 9, 2017

Leeds Beer Festival 2015. Copper with a small head. Has a sweetened malt character and is an easy drinking session ale. tombyars (1770) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - JUL 17, 2015
Tasted this in the Three Judges, Glasgow on the 2nd July 2015. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale mahogany in colour with a thin creamy off white head. Short intensity of malt on the nose with hints of berry fruits. Thin creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Mixed malts give a digestive biscuit base with raisins and toffee fudge sweetness coming through. There is a damp earthy hop prickle present in the short bitter aftertaste. Finish is slightly malty and sweet with dry oak cask notes and a subtle sherry flavour noted at the end. A decent session ESB in the old traditional style.

Dan Murphy’s bottle (1-Feb-2014) Sweet light toffee malt aroma.Dark amber low head suds lace.Sweet candy lemon flavour.Toffee malt herbal finish. ALLOVATE (3063) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 19, 2013
Fiery orange body; sparsely carbonated and not quite bright. Short, compact, off-white crown is mostly lasting. Sweet, sticky caramelised citrus dominates the nose with just enough balance of toasted malt and floral pot pourri coming through. Quite juicy, citric and fresh on the palate. Level of earthy and grassy hops in back, moderately bitter, before a dry, orange and rose petal finish. Lighter than expected body, oily in feel with soft carbonation. Balanced and clean. Nothing but an easy drinker, so no whinges this way come. Not bad! (50cL, BB 15/01/14, Thirsty Camel Beechboro) ration (2263) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 30, 2013
