Can in Malta: seems to be a different beer than the first rater, because I find it very thin and not bitter at all. No hops aroma, just a very light papery maltiness. Goes down very smoothly, unhindered by something as annoying as taste or aroma. So I guess it´s a cheap and easy option to get some alcohol in the system. Don´t know why this is shipped around the world though... 3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 18, 2016
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2016 Another of the strange imported beers to be found in Costa Rica, and this one with no ratings! So let me pop its cherry... it smells fucking awful, and not only because it’s light-struck. There’s a makeup powder / chemical note and malt liquor-like alcohol and turpentine quality that overwhelms the very dubious expression of malt (saltine crackers? toast? maaaaybe). To its credit the body actually has firmness and crispness, helped by the snappy carbonation and the relatively strong bitterness, and by the fact that the off-flavors that abound in the nose are much milder in the mouth thanks to the high effervescence. There’s even some semblance of finishing hoppiness within that bitterness, suggesting lemon and herbs and whatnot.
