pours clear bright yellow with a small white head, little retention and lno lacing. faint grainy maltiness - sweetish, booze (!), lots of cardboard, caramel touch, corn, dust, grass, pepper, chalk and minerals. moderate carbonation, light body - slightly watery, bland yet balanced herbal-grassy finish. awkward booziness for stated abv. inoffensive yet some flaws show compared to regular carling.

Can (710 ml). Shared by AdamJackson, thanks(?). Clear yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is of corn, light sweetness and hints of lemon. Taste is very similar. Light body. Medium carbonation. Bland, but not offensive.

Totally no appearance I mean sort of yellow. meh. leather shoe, dry grain, corn and a touch of lemon. Quite bland. Not a lot going on. creamed corn, some light sweetness at the finish.

Cannette 710 ml. 5.5%. Une nouvelle image pour Carling. Couleur jaune or, mousse blanche.

Very thin head, boring carbonated gold body. Yawn. Faint lemon aroma. Yawn. Slight grain-caramel taste with a dry finish. Yawn. Not an awful lager, but certainly a boring one.

Swillfest 04: Pale. Aroma stings with highly inappropriate phenols. Grainy palate thankfully shows no sign of them. Slightly tart finish. A non-event after that disgusting aroma.

Clear gold, small white head. Fruity malt, sweet sugars. Bready , sweet lager , plain brew . Extra dry ? Now thats a joke.
