meh, tastes like canadian, pretty much sums up all their "pale lagers", avoid.

I had a can of this from a friend and for an everyday later in the night beer it is not bad. You could do better but not too bad!

Nice malt and hop flavor with clean finish, much better than Canadian, can only seem to find in Canada though.

Okay, I actually had this alongside a Stella Artois. They look the same-- if anything, OV had a nicer looking head to it. However, the difference begins with the aroma: OV essentially has none, other than a bicarbonate tang that tickles your nose. As it warmed up, a sharp graininess became faintly evident. The Stella had more flavour, but not much more. Basically this endeavour illustrated the averageness of Stella more than anything!

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2005 A past favorite. A light lager with a nice hops finish. Best from the bottle. Only comes out on very special occasions! Not sure why....hehe

Very light and inoffensive. Pale color, mild hops aroma, malt and corn palate and watery finish. Okay

Canned sample. Very pale yellow in colour with lots of carbonation. Very fizzy indeed. Little aroma, but perhaps there’s just a bit of corny-malt and alcohol. The body was painfully thin. Some light fruit (maybe apple) flavor was evident, as well as the slightest hint of some earthy hops. Slightly better than expected, and much better than theother option of malt liquor I was offered at my mother-in-law’s house.

I had a bottle of this after having a bottle of Molson Export. After drinking the export, I noticed that OV has absolutely no taste. And Export is pretty crappy. I hate rating macro crap.

Good Canadian style beer. good flavour, good appearance, good pallet, no bad aftertaste.

campat (7) - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAR 17, 2005 does not count
It pours a good head that doesn’t last for awhile. It tastes like an aged lager but it is inoffencive. Would buy if had an OV light.
