UPDATED: FEB 5, 2008 Better than expected. A strange bitter taste throughout. Aroma is slightly hoppy with some fruit characters. Better than Canadian, Canadian Ice, etc. Just not great.

This was the "local's" favorite when I went fishing in Ontario. Does not seem as full as it did with Carling OKeefe. Pale golden color with a average white head. Light pale malt and hint of herbal hops. Light sweet grain and a nip of bitterness late. Slightly better than the standard american standard.

Yet another beer that at one time at least was produced on a massive scale. Clean, uncomplicated, no after taste. Pretty watery, but considerably better than more popular large scale brews like Labatt Blue.

It's a real beer. No bells or whistles. Not a great smell or taste. OV is what you thought beer was when you were a kid and thought beer was gross.

Pretty shitty as one would expect. alot of corn in the aroma and flavor, a bit of a rotten apple flavor too. Good for causing intoxication and a hangover, thats about it though.

O'Keefe's old lager. Fruity and carbonic with little in the way of mouthfeel or hops.

Had this on on tap and had thought that it was no longer brewed. Tasted very macro but it did go down real easy.

foul odour, skunky with a mild graininess. Macro appearance - 'nuff said. Mildly refreshing, not a real standout, but not as bad as its reputation.

Light head, nice colour for the style. Thin aroma. I remember this beer before Molson bought Carling O'Keefe as the one non-beer drinkers drank before Coors Light. As such I was a little surprised that it was actually a lightly hopped and average American Standard.

A enjoyable beer, after having a long day in the sun, or cutting the grass. make sure its cold
