Okay OV is pretty simple stuff. smoother than Budwesier, kind of crisp, not too much. The least pretentious of the Molson line. It doesn’t try to be what it isn’t and it good at that. They used to sponsor five pin bowling, and is currently about as common. beanmedic (348) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 22, 2005
I had a bottle of this after having a bottle of Molson Export. After drinking the export, I noticed that OV has absolutely no taste. And Export is pretty crappy. I hate rating macro crap. bipolar1 (268) - Hancock, Michigan, USA - SEP 30, 2001
I'll take a Canadian macro-lager over an American one anyday................ iambeer (255) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 3, 2005
A smooth acompaniment to a Bali dish, quite good. To agree with leedsfan, it seemed to be more popular in the ol’days. Not bad still. blackmetal (246) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 10, 2012
Carbonization galore with grainy taste and an unexpected bitter finish. Essentailly a consistantly skunky beer.

Rated while drinking: Pours the color of yellow corn with an unattractive diminishing white head. Actually has a teensy bit of hops in the aroma. Weird bottle smell though. Tastes pretty mainstream, but surprisingly nothing too "off". Probably because there’s actually hops present in the sea of bad malt and adjuncts. Nothing going on in the palate; carbonated water feel. But drinkable. Had no idea what this was, but picked up a 12 pack at Wegmans for 6 dollars. It’s pretty refreshing to watch a ball game and tip these back. Don’t think I’d be a repeat buyer though. sleepdirt (169) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 7, 2001
A beer of my youth. I remember It tasted ok when O'keefe made it. Ever Since Molson bought them out this beer just tastes bad. kliggerwar (156) - - JAN 10, 2013
