Very old review from notes. Haven’t seen this in years; assume it’s retired. Nice dark red pour with a little bit of off white head. Lots of malt and some hops in the nose; maybe some dark fruit. Much more body and taste than other Molson offerings I’ve tried. Would love to have this again to see how my initial impression would hold up over time.
aroma some hops, malt, color, slight reddish hue, taste, smooth, some hop some malt, overall, I rated this beer high because thats the impression it left on me a the time, I cant find this beer anymore rating was from 1997 swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 9, 2009

12oz bottle. Poured a light reddish brown color with a mini white head. This pretty much tastes like a regular molson with slightly more malt flavor. Still doesnt make it good. RSRIZZO (2032) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - OCT 11, 2007
Had this beer on 11/12/1998. Medium body that goes down harsh. Finish just sucks. BAD BAD beer.

Draught. Almost non-existant white head. Clear amber/reddish body. Fruity aroma. Flavor expected to be more bitter than was actually the case. drismyhero (815) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - APR 12, 2005
A jug of this was 14.75 so I assumed it would be okay, but I was sorely wrong. I was actually expecting a red ale, but was served a somewhat less disgusting version of the original Molson. The beer wasn’t red at all, but in the black light over the table it looked phosphourescent so I suppose it wasn’t necessarily the beer’s fault. Almost no body, just watered-down to all hell. Low flavor and not enjoyable. Panzuriel (2371) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - APR 6, 2003
Nice ruddy brown color good head. Somewhat thin tasting and a little whimpy on the texture as well. Oh well. A decent beer. boto (2263) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - SEP 13, 2002
Overall, not a bad beer. Pretty good for a Macro. ........................
