This is a fine quality brew, only the true canadians enjoy this beer. so cheers
Bottle in Toronto. Golden malt, some crisp bitterness. Mild hop character. Clean, nothing much happening. woodytwoshoes (1) - - AUG 16, 2015 does not count
Nostalgia alone may not be enough for me to rate this as a good beer but definately a better all around north american "table beer" than Molson Canadian, bud or coors. The only put off in my mind is the metallic aftertaste, other than that it’s pretty solid and I can’t for the life of me figure out why they never market the stuff....the truest definition of "Suds" in adamnowek (2639) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 2, 2015
This was a pleasant surprise. A hint of sweetness and a sharp bit of herbal spice. Very easy to drink. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 23, 2015
Pale golden pour. White head. The nose is lightly hoppy with some
sweet graininess. Has a little bit of herbal hoppiness and a touch of
sweetness. Okay really. For what it is. Strangebrewer (1297) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 16, 2013
bottle. Poured clear gold with not much of any head. Delicious bready malt aroma. Average carbonation, just a slightly chewy mouthfeel. Flavour of barley malt, a touch of citrus and grassy hop, finishes peppery with a medium dryness. A nice diamond in the rough in the the endless sea of macro brews.

Pale and light gold colour with little aroma. Taste is very light. Although probably one of the best current macros. robinvboyer (4583) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 23, 2012
341ml bottle. aroma of cooked veggies, cheap malts, and a whole lot of corn. good mouth feel, and good carb. the finish is corny, mealy, and wet almost mold grains. this is bad. zimbo (960) - SCOTLAND - NOV 30, 2012
For many years as full as Molson beers got. Heavier and more bitter than most Molson products this is still underpowered and under performs. BIt to carbonic too though there is a bit of a messy bitterness there if you look. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 19, 2012
Bottle, sweet aroma and aroma. Pretty simple, better than most of theSe canadian macros. Reminds me of the pre-21 days and heading over to the Ontario bars Metalchopz (3364) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 15, 2012
Originally rated June 2005. Bought this one in a 24 pack (the only way to get this at The Beer Store in Ontario). This is a beer that use to be popular at one time (20 some years ago), but now just doesn’t sell anymore. The colours on the box (and label) are super outdated. Pours a golden colour with a decent head. Spots of foamy lacing is left. The carbonation is slow and medium in size and quantity. Aroma of grain malt. So is the taste, with a mild sweetness. Nothing extremely crazy here, but good for swilling... when you want an alternative to a lager. One day, you will probably not see this beer anymore, as the regular move on to the other side. After collecting the bottle caps of this brew when I was young, and not hearing about this brew for the last 15-20 years... I am glad I could try this one.
