disappointed after trying it. Pours clear amber with a finger of bubbly head, a little lacing, and some carbonation. poor taste, grass, herbal scents with no sweetness or hoppiness, you can taste the alcohol though. Nothing special for a "superior premium beer"

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours golden with a white head and decent lacing. The aroma is faint corn and grain. The taste is apple, corn, and grain. The sweetness fades into some bitterness. The alcohol was hid well. This was okay.

Clear yellow color with a tall, stable off-white head. Some pale malt and floral hops. Light peppery alcohol. Smells like I would expect a decent malt liquor to smell like. Pale malt sweetness. Some dough and bits of spicy alcohol. If I had to live on malt liquors, this would be near the top of the list. 4/13

Sadly this got left in the cooler (along with one other little loner) so it only gets rated by me. Clear light golden, sweet and corny with a touch of apple skins, warm finish with a bit of metal.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this beer. It poured a golden yellow with a medium white head. A little sweet with a dry finish. I really like this and will try it again.

bottle @ The Andersons / Columbus OH --- Clear light amber color, ivory head that drops quickly to the rim, splotches of lace. Aroma of malt that is a little off. Taste is centered around caramel with a little malt mixed in. The sweet stays strong all the way through a fizzed swallow and a finish with only a tiny hint of hops. I can drink it, but there are other better things to drink out there.

(Rating #6513)

SUPER PREMIUM!!! NO PRESERVATIVES. Bottle best by NOV0215, from Total Wine in Cherry Hill. Twist-off cap. Nose grainy with a little grass, not skunked, very saccharine and leaning toward aspartame. Touch fumey. Pours clear, bright, rich golden with heavy carbonation and a fizzy bright white head that just tuckers itself out -- it’s not a bad looking beer at all. Taste sweet and lightly boozy with surprisingly heavy malt to match the corn overtones, has good and gentle malt liquor floral character but it just can’t match the heat. Graininess disappears somewhat. Full body again boozy, but this one’s a trip worth taking!

With some ice cubes.

(Honestly, I’ve had quite a few ’pure’ tripels (i.e., Belgian) with more fire than this and less charm.)

((Ohmygosh I wasn’t making fun of the rating below mine! Such is the coincident power of the triple-X))

This Super Premium Beer contains no preservatives unlike so many of these so called craft brews that have to add fruity flavors and pumpkin spices to them to make them palatable. XXX goes down smooth, it leaves no film in my mouth or the taste of chemicals like so many other beers I have tried and I have tried a lot of high dollar brews. XXX reminds me of the beer I use to get when I was stationed in the FRG back in the 1980s when the purity laws were4 in full effect. XXX with a nice light body, not too much carbonation and the right amount of alcohol to do the job. One of the few non-German brews I can drink even if it gets hot from being in the desert. Several other older experienced military men drank it hot too right along with me that day and no one refused another Oil Can. Semper Fi
