Poured a slightly hazy light amber with small white head. Aroma of woody apple. Medium, lively body. Flavour is like a slightly apple geueze, interesting if not particularly exciting.
Leicht trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Citrus, Kraut, Gewürze, genauso ist auch der Geschmack. Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - APR 16, 2014

Slight gusher. Pours amber colored with a flat creamy head. Smells sourish and very fruity. Starts with a fizzy carbonation. Aroma is very fruity-sourish and yeasty. Middle part has also fruity notes. Finish is fruity-sourish, very yeasty with some herbal notes.
With thanks to Koelschtrinker in a trade. Appearance: Vibrant ruby red with some floaties, a thick snow white head. Aroma: Apple, orange, nice sourness too, yeasty, strawberry, ’farm yard’ and woody too! Smells ace. Flavour: Such massive carbonation in the mouth feel, apple, peach, a little yeast with a hint of tartness shining through, woody too with a fruitiness and apple in the finish. Lovely. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 24, 2014
Slightly hazed copperish amber with a yellowish white, extremely bubbly head. Nose is a fair bit of apple and cinnamon. Has a touch of apple sauce quality. Earthy and musky spice. Taste has some apple and cinnamon, less than the nose. Some light grain mixed with musk and a hint of salt. Fairly spicy with notes of citrus. Heavily carbonated, lighter body. Carbonation makes the finish a bit uneven and thins out the flavor. Buongiorgio00 (934) - - JAN 21, 2014
Una delle gose più particolari che abbia assaggiato, possiede un’eleganza sua speciale che si esprime con un carattere intenso e fruttato, intrecciato a note più rozze e terrose e da una penetrante punta acidula, citrica, ben bilanciata. Sehr sehr gut!!

The bottle is a slow gusher; it pours a hazy amber color with medium sized frothy head. The aroma is a bit saline, and I’m surprised to feel actually some apple; delicate wood, very light smoke. The mouthfeel is very dry; it has a little malt flavor, moderate salty touch, infinitesimal smoke; very light acidity too, and almost no bitterness.
Simple, but rather different and better than the Hickory Wood version..
Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, cheers to Paulo, 09/12/13.
Murky orange amber with little in the way of a head.
Nose is tarte apricot, peach yoghurt, orange, straw, earthy.
Taste comprises pithy citrics, apricot, tarte peach, light apple core, straw, farmy.
Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, clean crisp finale.
Ok gose. madmitch76 (24360) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2013

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Paul. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light airy palate with light fine carbonation. Very light lactose and light generic fruits. A little sourness and a little floralness. Light fluffy finish. So this beer has no apple and the Hickory has loads? My head hurts. Mebbe a label mix up!
Bottle acquired via trade. Slow Gusher! It pours lightly hazy golden amber with a medium+ yellow-white head. The nose is musty, earth, spice, dank, brett, light Irn Bru and leather. The taste is earth, must, apple, pear, light saltiness, touch of Appletizer, tangy, wood and leather. Medium body, moderate+ carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not quite as good as the Hicory, but a solid beer nonetheless.

Bottle, slight gusher. Pours hazy dark orange with a medium to large off-white head. Aroma has barn, geuze, green apples and a bit tart. Taste is a bit sweet with a soft sourness, wood and apple. Medium body and a madium to high carbo. Nice.
