Bottle acquired via trade. It pours clear deep amber with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is apple tango, earth, wood, candy, salt, cheap white wine and apple Jolly Ranchers. The taste is crisp, salty, green apple skin, pear skin, Appletizer, nice tartness and sherbet with a dry finish. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Interesting, fun and tasty. Nice work. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 10, 2013
Bottle cheers to Paul. Pours clear amber with a big frothy white head. Nose is divine stewed apples - just like an apple pie. Some mild raisins and a touch citric behind the bready malts. Very apple forward. Taste is reminiscent of sparking apple juice, heavy tangy lemon, toffee, lime and biscuit. Very decent Leighton (21092) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2013
Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - thanks P-Dog. Pours clear, amber-gold with a frothy white head. Smells like ripe berries, fruit juice, ripe apples, gummy candies. Light sweet flavor with more gummy candies, berries, mellow tang. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish with ripening fruits, more gummies, hints of woody dryness. Nice.
