Aus der Flasche bei Kaspar Schulz getrunken. Trübes Amberbraun. Anklänge von frischer Eiche und Cherryaromen.

ALIBALI (2090) - Kiel, GERMANY - OCT 5, 2016

MonsterMagnet (1444) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 11, 2016
Tap at WWF Enschede. Very yeasty and malty, lots of dark fruit, brown sugar, spices. Not sure really, may need to try this again and give it more attention.

Zlotta (3278) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JAN 10, 2016
On tap at Winterbierfestival Enschede 2016. Hazy, dark brownish red to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Sweetish-malty aroma of brown sugar, caramel, raisins. Sweet, fruity-malty taste of caramel, brown sugar, raisins, hints of chocolate and cinnamon, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, flat. Way too sweet, actually unpleasant.

0,33l fles gedeeld tijdens proefavond biergilde donker bruin, erg zoet van karakter. Chemisch met hopjes. Niet mijn ding

Svesse (8598) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 9, 2015
(Draught at De Drie Dorstige Herten, Utrecht, 26 Feb 2015) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, black rye bread, coffee and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of caramel, black rye bread, liquorice, coffee and finish with a balanced spicy bitterness and a certain alcohol bite. Almost full body, slightly sweetish. Warming and powerful, but quite well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

Aroma has a lot of plums, raisins and pear. Caramel malts. Pours dark brown with a small beige head that leaves lacing. Taste has medium sweetness and light bitterness. Also brown sugar, plums, strong maltiness. Full body with thick mouthfeel. Almost no carbonation. Malty finish. Overall a very good beer.
