12/21/11. On tap at Momo’s. I’m sad and feel disgraced for being the 4th to rate this. Very slightly hazed golden pour with a small fluffy barely off-white head that fades quickly, leaves a film, and laces in small rings with each sip. Surprisingly fragrant aroma - slightly floral with touches of tortilla chips and green apple. Some what plain flavor, as can be expected. Tastes like beer... seriously though, there’s tart green apples, corny tortilla chips, and a slight spicy phenolic aspect that turns me off a bit. Otherwise, not terrible. Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at the brewpub. Medium golden pour, nice bubble action, bubbly yet creamy snow white head, nice lacing. Aroma is neutral with just a trace of fresh lake water. Flavor has some buttery accents, a hint of vanilla and butterscotch. Refreshing. Good accompaniment to pizza. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 17, 2011
Slightly foggy, dull yellow with a respectable white head. Tangy aroma, but slightly doggie. Prominent cereal flavor up front, edgy bittering, dry and tangy. Full, starchy mouthfeel with a hoppy aftertaste. My least favorite from this brewpub so far, but that was to be expected from the style. On a break from Christmas shopping, with a pepperoni slice, on a really nice day. DialSquare (5028) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 17, 2011
On tap at momo’s. Clear yellow pour with a medium bright white head and spotty lacing. Grainy aroma. Tastes are lemon, bread, salt, and light malts. Dry salty finish that leaves lemon bitter afters. Crisp lively medium to light palate. Cream ales aren’t generally my favorite, but this was pretty nice - I like the salty vibe.
