Bottle, at the Monte Carlo Bar in the southern side of Monaco, its a fizzy yellow beer, nothing cool about it.. tastes like heineken and is probably the same recipe. comes served in a cool glass which left the bar with me. Free souvenir.. Win. Mariusz (12304) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2012
Golden body, white head. Aroma is flowery and malty with caramel. Flavour has only malt and a little corn flake flavour. Little bitterness on palate. roder60 (1289) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2011
Had in a back alley in the area of Monaco between the palace and the cathedral. The beer’s label looks similar to that of heineken dark but just with monaco beer instead. Pours a slightly hazy gold color with foamy white head that lasts. Nice sweet grassy aroma. Flavor has a medium mouthfeel, sweet orange fruit, and a grassy hop base. Very good. maupie (1102) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2010
After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained normale carbonic acid in the glass.
The beer has a clear golden color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a malty touch. This beer smells malty. hayduke (5731) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 17, 2010
From a small cafe in northern France. Poured gold with a medium sized white head that lasted a while. Nose of caramel malts and floral hops. Medium mouthfeel. Favor of citrus hops. Very enjoyable.

Bottled at Café de Paris. What a great find :). Poured a medium sized thick white head that went away relatively slow, golden body. Very light herbal hop nose. Light fruity malty taste with notes of honey and a noticable hop presence. Tasty enough for what it is and a nice surprise. heavy (2911) - Split, CROATIA - OCT 16, 2009
11/10 0.33 l bottle from Café de Paris, Monte Carlo. Obviously brewed for bars in Monaco only. It poured golden body with medium sized head. Fine aroma of nice, not typical crappy honey malts and herbal hops. Flavor follows that, bitter hops are very well balancing the sweetish malt base. Toast and biscuit notes here more than honey. Slightly thin, but finish was pleasant. Don’t know if I was tired from the sun so the beer came great to me or it’s great indeed for what it is, a pale lager.
