Notting Hill Blonde is a continental style yellow beer which flavour explodes on the tongue, a mix of hops, bitterness and sweetness. Fruity hops on the nose and palate fade in the aftertaste, leaving a dry bitter character with a little spiciness.

September 21, 2015 - bottle rating; London. Slightly hazy gold, nice fluffy white head. Dry golden ale aroma with pungent catty overtones (7+). Taste follows, less catty character, but an interesting earthy/mineral quality knocking the sweetness down even more. Average body, airy, mineral/gritty quick finish. Not amazing but very drinkable indeed.

Cask gravity at the London drinker beer fest 2017. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is soft bready malts, vanilla, hints of citrus, lemon, straw. Flavour is composed of soft pale malts little rustic, lemon rind and straw. Palate is grainy, semi sweet, moderate carbonation, raw grains, ok. Decent blonde.,

Bottle, had many times, about time I rated it. A spring golden ale for me. Clean. Refreshing. Dry. Lovely mountain dew aroma and heavily floral. I don’t know what hops are in the current batch but the aroma was fantastic. It tastes like an amped-up golden ale but it’s super clean and soft malts which I enjoy about well-made golden ales. I can easily knock a lot of this back and I do. It’s great for the spring and I would like to see some different hop variations for golden ales from Moncada.
