Bottle split at ChrisO tasting, London. It pours a clean ruby / copper color with a medium tan head. Aroma is rich in roasted malts and pine resinous hops. Taste has some wood, pine cones, citrus rind, light roasted wood chips. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, very tasty

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Murky ruby body with a large beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma of blackcurrant, raspberry syrup and caramel. Flavour of strawberry, red apple and bitter, earthy hops. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A raw, hoppy Amber Ale. Lovely stuff.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Oddbins Chiswick. BB date Feb 2014. Amber colour, lasting offf-white head. Nice fruity aroma of American hops, hints of red berries. Also malty notes. Decent hops in the flavour too, with a nice bitterness. Also lightly roasted malts, woody hints.

Shared bottle at RB/HD. Dark orange. Beige head. Earthy aroma of American hops and pine. Taste is better and more balanced. A bit too carbonated. Earthy and bitter hops in aftertaste.

Craig on Heat Tasting at ChrisO’s. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and very dry. Light fine carbonation. Little caramel malts. Dry bitter hops. Marmalade bitterness, astringent peach. Little floralness. Very dry finish with a strong bitter linger. A mixed bag.
