Tap from brewery. Pours dark amber with white head. Aroma strongly of coffee, with hints of hops, and caramel. Tastes of coffee and bitter hops. You can also get a hint of the caramel on the backend. Medium bodied. Very good.

22 ounce bottle - Empire Package Store in Atlanta, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, reddish-amber body with an inch of off-white froth. Small amount of lacing.

Smell: Toasty pale maltiness dunked in roasted coffee chased by the green, resiny hops smelling of oily, moist citrus peels.

Taste: Pale malts, moderately toasted grains and a lightly sweet thin glaze of blonde caramel. Juicy, citric, resinous piney hops with a robust amount of accruing bitterness. Youíve got a pleasing coffee addition, though, greedy me, Iíd hoped for a bit more. Always more, with me (well, at least when it comes to coffee). A little more caramel, but, like the opening, itís pretty subtle. Slight warming alcohol. Bitterish, citrusy, coffee-toned finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Some thickness to the mouthfeel.

Overall: Mightíve preferred a bit more coffee in the final flavor, but, still an enjoyable beer.

Atlanta, Ga. - Taco Mac - Sandy Springs - on tap. Pours a slightly murky medium orange with a thin but sticky off-white head that leaves a nice coat of lacing. Fresh, fragrant aroma with a hint of spruce, some apricot-like fruity sweetness, a floral hint. Juicy flavor with some requisite bitter citrus notes, some sweet caramel accents, a hint of peppery spice in the back end. Sticky, thick mouthfeel. Pretty solid.

Bottle shared by Nick at the Pig in Boca. Small snifters. Pours a deep copper amber with a moderate head. Aroma is pine hops, coffee, cereal, wet grass, and caramel. Taste is similar with a nice hopness of pine, resin, and then a hint of coffee. The coffee I think adds to the bitterness but the caramel malts offset. Not sweet though. Medium light body, good carb. FInish is pine, coffee, and bread. Very good. Unique.

22 ounce bottle thanks to James. Nice malty orange pour. Taste is IPA + coffee as advertised. Not in the aroma, but there in the body. Pretty nice. Tastes bigger than 8.4%.

22oz bottle. Rusty color, white foam, great lacing. Aroma of spicy peppers, un roasted coffee beans, malts, and citrus hops. Mostly spicy coffee. Flavor of toasted malts, coffee is has a dominant taste, some pine hops. Creamy mouthfeel, well balanced, smooth. Lingering bitter hops finish. Idk if finishing this entire 22oz bottle solo is such a good idea... (4202)

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours cloudy amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral and piney hops, some pale and caramel malts, some coffee, and some dough. Flavor the same with the hops up front and the coffee on the finish. Average texture. A cool beer, but canít compare to Dayman.

DarkSong (374) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - AUG 28, 2014
22 oz bottle. It pours a murky dark orange color with a medium sized long lasting white head. It has the aroma of citrus and pine from hops and a light roast coffee aroma. It has a nice hop bitterness and tastes like resin, citrus and herbal hops, coffee and a little bread. Iím surprised by how good this beer is. The coffee flavors and aromas really blend in well with the Imperial IPA flavors and go great together.
