COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A happy accident led us to try infusing our Eye Patch Ale with fresh serrano peppers. We wanted to share this deliciousness with you. Serrano Eye Patch has all the crisp, clean characteristics of an IPA, with a great pepper aroma and a hint of heat to cut the bitterness on the back end. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the brewery.

Draft from the Growler Spot. Light brown and on the light bodied side - rather watery. Mild hops flavor with little evidence of pepper. Inoffensive.

It poured a copper color with a white head. The aroma was of peppers, caramel and pale malts. The taste was of peppers, caramel, pale malts, citrus and hops. Tasty.

Poured from a bottle. Eye Patch with chili peppers added. Good IPA - citrusy with moderate caramel malt balance. Serranos add a touch of flavor, but not really much heat.

12 oz bottle pours a golden color with a nice white head. Aromas of spice, sweet malt, light citrus. Spice takes over this beer on the flavor, not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden pour. Eggshell head. Some fresh chili pepper on the nose. A lot of chili pepper balanced by the malt sweetness. Good.

Hazy dark golden color. Small white head. No lacing. Malty aroma. Orange hop aroma. Orange hop aroma with a pepper skin note. Not much heat. But a little bit.

I like IPAs with Peppers added. This is an IPA with peppers added. I liked it. Actually, the peppers were kind of on the mellow side, so there wasn’t a ton of heat. Great flavor, tough. Tasty.

chinchill (5315) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 14, 2015
12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy deep amber body with s very good head. Season peppers are rather subtle at first but build in intensity with repeated sipping. Still, only mild heat and moderate pepper flavor here: a balance that allows the base beer to show as well.

6/3/15. 12oz bottle thanks to rdixon77. Golden pour with a small khaki head, mild lacing. Pepper definitely present on the aroma, nothing crazy spicy, some mild citrus and fruitiness. Doughy flavor, pepper coming through definitely, but not spicy to me, reminds of salsa in a way, fruity. Not bad. Lack of heat might be because we killed a Habanero Sculpin right before this...
