Bottle. Hazy sparkling light light yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is coconuts, coconut and sweet coconuts. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (301007)

From 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing head. Looks okay, that is the good thing about this one: Aroma is very artificial coconut and almond. Flavour is extremely sweet, coconut is clear in the finish. Flavour is more almond than coconut. Bad, bad, bad and bad.

Ungstrup (37861) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 20, 2007
Bottled. An unclear light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of coconuts - reminds me of a coconut sun tan lotion - OK on a sunny beach of Hawaii, but in my beer? The flavor is sweet and again with very strong notes of coconuts, combined with a light note of wheat giving it a slight acidity towards the end. More like a summer drink for the patio than a beer.

joergen (28377) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 26, 2007
Bottle. Hazy yellow coloured with a white head. Sweet aroma dominated by coconut with fruity notes. Sweet flavour of fruits and coconuts. Too sweet and the coco is too dominating.

oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2008
Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Some lace. Aroma is coconut, glueish sweet with some hints of bread. Flavour is glueish sweetness along with coconut and some alcohol. Quite harshly sweet compared to the 3.5% one. Quite much like some stronger liquordrink by the sweetness...

omhper (25243) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 7, 2009
Bottled. Muddy pale yellow. Coconut milk aroma. Very sweet with lots of sugar, lot of coconut and well... not much else. Cloyingly sweet, as always from Huyghe but at least this would probably work well to cook Thai food with. Totally un-beery, but lot offputting.

Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2007
(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Very hazy, pale golden with a creamy, white head. Very distinct - extreme - coconut aroma. Rather thin body with very sweet coconut flavours - this is pretty much like Bounty in a bottle - or a soft drink or Malibu! 200507

Leighton (21459) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2013
Bottle at Bruce’s - London. Thanks to Colin. A gusher! Pours hazy, pale white with a mild, filmy head. Smells like some kind of fruit juice, a bit of coconut. Medium sweet flavor, some oily coconut, a bit of lime, pineapple. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Tastes pretty much like a piña colada. Subtly artificial but not bad overall.
