COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly brewed for Inlet Brewing Co. (ex Jupiter Brewing Co.) by Orlando Brewing Co., now by Thomas Creek.

This unique copper-colored ale derives its fruity, slightly spicy aroma from authentic Belgian Abbey yeast. The subtle nutty and malty sweet flavors sing in harmony with the freshest organic hops vailable. Monk In the Trunk devotees are known to chant about its most intriguing quality, true drinkability.

bottle. amber with small head. taste reminds me of spiced apple cider. sweet caramel hops and belgian yeast. not really an amber ale, but whatever it is, it’s pretty good.

Not a bad beer. It really comes off more as a mediocre Trippel than an amber ale. High carbonation, and goes down easy. I’d drink it again, but won’t seek it out.

HighWine (991) - Whalezbro, Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Bottle to chilled shaker glass at Fish Bones in Orlando. Dark amber pour with a thin white head. Standard amber ale aroma, a little bit of hops and a little bit of sweet malt. Taste is somewhat Belgian fruity but also partially metallic. Sweet finish. Meh.

maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 20, 2012
Bottle. Pours an amber color with a fairly small head to it. Fairly malty in both taste and smell. Fairly average as a beer goes.

Bottle while in the Keys, pleasantly surprised by an organic Belgian amber. I had another.

jbruner (5462) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 9, 2012
Pours a dark murky amber from the bottle with thin white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of pale malts, caramel, and slight english hops. Taste follows suit with a slight bitter finish. Decent beer, good for organic.

bkurtz (1146) - LITHUANIA - JUL 3, 2012
Poured amber with a smallish head. Semi-sweet malts with citrus notes. Something in the taste is tinny, so one and done.

emacgee (4711) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JUN 25, 2012
Clean light golden amber pour with two fingers of creamy off white head. Biscuity grainy notes with a husky quality. Bready/grainy with sweet caramel notes and a light herbal hop quality. Dog food-ish flavor. Medium body and a light bitterness.

Copper. Light nose citrus and spice. Slight spice and hops. Orange zest. Decent ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
