On tap @ Stone Liberty Station. Dark brown pour with a tan head. Roasty nose with lots of coffee and a bit of smoke. Some dark chocolate and a little licorice. Kind of hoppy, too. Flavor has a nice mild bitterness to it of coffee beans, roast, and dark baking chocolate. Plenty of earthy hops and some floral and woody notes. Not bad. Pours pitch black with a one finger tan head with nice lacing. Aroma is of roasted malts, coco, coffee, molasses, sweet caramel, and some sweet malts. Taste is about the same as arom with the addition of some piney Nd grassy hops in the back end. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfel and a semi bitter, slight dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a tasty stout that is pretty hoppy and drinkable for the style.
