Draft at the brewpub - San Diego. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma has spicy pine, jammy citrus, some dry orange rind. Medium sweet flavor with bready pale malts, bitter and spicy pine, ripe citrus, hints of marmalade, dried flowers. Medium to full bodied with fine, chewy carbonation. Lightly warming to finish, somewhat resinous, more pine, florals and rindy citrus. Pretty drinkable. saxo (19531) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2012
Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich flowers, caramel, bitter hops and malt. Long bitter finish. mcberko (19175) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 13, 2017
On tap at Monkey Paw, pours a hazy bronze with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, bready malt and maybe a touch of butter. Flavour is massive, with resinous hops, caramel malt and a hint of butter. Nicely balanced and thankfully the butter is also minor. Okay.

Pours a hazy amber color with a fluffy off-white head. Strong citric character with lots of grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon peel. There is a nice touch of pine and some sweet toffee malt. A bit of floral hops in there, too. The flavor is a good blend of sweetness and bitterness. Plenty of pine and grapefruit peel with a very strong citric hop profile and flavor. The bitterness is mostly present on the finish. bhensonb (15843) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 12, 2012
Can from Bine and Vine. Pours copper with a slight white head. Aromas of brown sugar, resin and citrus. Full bodied with significant carbonation. First impression is brown sugar, then resin and citrus. It finishes pretty darn bitter, always with that lurking roasted malt background. Damn tasty ale. Enough hop to preserve flesh. crossovert (14006) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 28, 2012
A pretty weak IPA, especially by SD standards. It is super sweet with no hop bitterness whatsoever. 77ships (11304) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 15, 2013
Thx! To Antoine. Sampler draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Amber with a creamy white head – enjoyable lacing. Nose is sweet malt, yoghurt (light), sweet sugar, caramel malt, light fating grapefruit hops,… Taste is sweet malt, light caramel, touch yoghurt, sweet sugar, herbs, light yeast, very light grapefruit,… Touch fuller body. Indeed somewhat infected but not heavily. Drinkable. KyotoLefty (10726) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 29, 2012
Draught at the brewpub. Sweet toffee, butter, grassy hops. A cloying crystal bomb with cake and then dirty grassy hop finish. Been finding a lot of these lately. Doesn’t really work for me. Too much of the caramel.
