On tap at RateBeer Best. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong stone fruit, oak, yeast, floral. Ripe peach, peach pit, oak, citrus that really makes the peach pop. Fantastic nose and flavor...just the right amount of sour, assertive without overdoing it. Just great! Only beer I had twice at Ratebeer Best. 4.5+
Bottle @ Paradise Point. Lowly carbonated golden-orange beer with a limited smattering of bubbles. Holy smokes is this stone fruit goodness. Tons of peach and juicy nectarine. Get a bright lemon juice acidity, a touch of yogurt, and some subtle white wine. The flavor is certainly more sour than I would really prefer, but it’s not ridiculous. The amount of fruit character helps things out as well. Great nectarine here, which is an underappreciated fruit, I feel. Another winner. vtafro (7444) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - DEC 17, 2016
