33cl bottle @Cimmeria,Oviedo. 26-10-2015.
"3ª cata RateBeer Asturias".
BBD: 2024.
A bit watery for 9,7%. Overcarbonated. Roasty, licorice, coffee nose and flavours. Little harsh due to overcarbonation.

thellgren (1027) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 3, 2016
0.33 l bottle with ABV 9.7% from Systembolaget, Stockholm. Aroma has dark chocolate. Visual appearance is dark brown with a nice big tan head. Taste has at first alcohol but then it turns to cough medicine. Which makes it great. Taste is vinous and full of strange flavours from different microorganisms. Something like in Flanders sour beers. This could be something like the aged porters in the 18th century. Absolutely great.

kajser27 (1785) - Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 25, 2016
Dark brown to black colored, medium tan creamy head with good lacing and long lasting. Aroma is of roasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate, licorice, some roasty acidity. Taste is medium sweet chocolate and caramel, decent amount of dark chocolate, dark fruits but less than in the aroma, licorice, medium- bitterness, alcohol is well hidden. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, creamy.

Saeglopur (2144) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - SEP 24, 2016
330 ml bottle bb 2024, brought from Stockholm by a friend some months ago, many thanks!
Dark brown body, with a medium, dense, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of coffee, cocoa, liquorice, dark fruits, dark bread, some spice, some alcohol.
Taste follows this, very smooth, with some more wooden notes.
Full, creamy, velvety mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes smooth, medium roasty, a bit dry, wooden, with coffee, cocoa, some liquorice, slight spices, subtle alcohol.

Tasty. Really smooth and well balanced, with the right amount of roasty coffee and sweet dark malts. Very well hidden alcohol and with a lovely creaminess. Great style example how I like it, a dense, but smooth sipper.

Svart med to fingre høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter kaffe, mørk sjokolade, nøtter, svisker og noe lakris. Fyldig.

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - FEB 19, 2016
Bottle: Thanks Hackobock: Served in a Chouffe glass: Big creamy foamy head. Almost black body. Beautiful aroma of mocha, chocolate, hop fruits, caramel, fudge, hop flowers, roast, cacoa, some citrussy tints and a crispy lemon cake tone. Flavour is a bit behind the aroma, almost quite alike yet more roast and the bitterness is there. Good chocolate and caramel tones with some crispy hop tones, in the back. Light citrussy refreshment. Aftertaste bitter roasty and some chocolate with a loght citrus tint in the back. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, more than medium bodied. This is nice!

minutemat (5395) - Shrewsbury, Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2016
330ml bottle from Systembolaget, drunk in our hotel in Helsinki. Pours dark brown with an exuberant light brown head. Aroma is layered malt and cocoa. Taste is complex malts with a defined nuttiness. Some caramel, cocoa, liquorice & vague vanilla coming into play too. Rich, at times intense, flavours.
