Sample @ SBWF 12. Hazy yellow colour with an off-white head. Spicy, sweet aroma. Flavour is fruity, sweet. dlinn (141) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Aroma is very malty and oaky. Very sweet with a good dose of oak flavor. Burns a bit on the way down. Almost like a barley wine. As a side note, this one might be a bit old. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Pour out of 250 mL bottle, big thanks to Scott for the pour! Dark reddish orange pour with thin to no white head, aroma has notes of dark fruits, cherry, caramel, molasses, toffee, hints of sweet candi sugar as well, some booze in there as well. Taste is sweet fruit, candi sugar, toffee, caramel, some booze, hints of more caramel, finishing fairly sweet, but boozy. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of doodler. Thanks so much, Scott! Cloudy dark orange appearance with no head. Rich caramel, somewhat herbal spicy, rich fruity, somewhat oxidized, a bit earthy, cardboard aroma. Quite thick, very rich caramel malty, syrupy brown sugar, apricot/peach, somewhat oxidized, tangerine/orange fruity flavor. Thick, syrupy mouth feel. Fairly boozy but fun to try. Thanks Scott! Black with a brown tinge, thick liquid, small porous brown head that dissolves into a ring.
Full aroma: roasted, cocoa, coffee.
Taste: chocolate, licorice, liqueur, salt, soy sauce, toffee.
Thick and oily.
Very unexpected. Like Neeskens below, I got something that doesn’t match the other descriptions. Very good though, much better than I had hoped.

courtesy of Per - cloudy copper-orange beer with no head retention; aroma of molasses, nougat, apples and wood; full-bodied and pretty sweet, moderate carbonation, a late and decent bitterness; long malty and toffeish finish with burning notes of alcohol heavy (2890) - Split, CROATIA - MAR 10, 2012
21/11 0.25 l bottle courtesy of Marko, great thanks for sharing! 21/11 0.25 l bottle courtesy of Marko, great thanks for sharing! It poured hazy orange to copper body with small head. Aroma is a bit disappointing, some bubblegum, caramel, wood. Sweet flavor, rather simple, candy and raisins malty, full bodied with warming, but not too alcoholic finish. At least not so much as it could be expected. Not bad for sure, although way too simple and so much below full satisfaction. SaintMatty (7476) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JAN 13, 2012
250ml Bottle - Hazy amber with a small head. Apricot, leather, malt and alcohol in the aroma. Fruity, tangy and malty taste with notes of dried apricot, sultanas, leather, hops and some woody notes. Rather interesting and whilst it doesn’t taste weak, it doesn’t taste like it’s 16.1% either. I’ve heard good things about the Andersson brothers and I am looking forward to trying some more of their efforts in future. fonefan (50674) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2011
