On tap at Monks Porter House. It poured a slightly hazy golden liquid with a small white head. Smell and taste of fruits, yeast and light bread. Medium smooth mouthfeel, light body and mild carbonation. A fruity and easy to drink English ale. ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 23, 2010
Draught at Monks Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy reddish brown colour with a fluffy off-white head. Fudge, dust and grass in the aroma with hints of red berries. Medium-bodied with dryish notes of nut-shells, grass and fudge. Medium-bitter finish with notes of nut-shells, butterscotch and fudge. Not the best offering from Monk´s. (Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm, 18 Aug 2010) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, marzipan and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, dried apricots, caramel and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Very tasty.
