gyllenbock (9711) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 10, 2014
On tap at Monk’s American Bar, January 2014.
Clear dark brown with a thick head. Aroma of nuts, chocolate, light roasted malt and caramel. The taste was similar. Not bad but a bit on the weak side.

Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm. Clear dark copper colour, rich firm head. Chocolaty nose with grains and notes of licorice. Dryish with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Aniseed and chocolate, toasty malt. Quite bitter finish. Nice! AndySnow (7994) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - DEC 7, 2013
Where: Monk’s Porter House, Stockholm.
Appearance: Dark brown with a beige head.
Aroma: Malt, roasted, caramel.
Body: Light body with a decent carbonation.
Flavour: Roasted malt, creamy.
Comment: Tastes a bit like a stout. Hovering in the border between a brown ale and a stout.
