Sigmund (7654) - Tau, NORWAY - AUG 8, 2017
250 ml bottle, thanks to omhper. ABV is 11.2%, IBU 70. Black colour, minimal carbonation, no head. Aroma of fusel, dark malts, molasses and caramel, some chocolate. Rich and sweet flavour, plenty of molasses, roast malts, caramel, chocolate and alcohol. Bitter finish. Warming mouthfeel.

(backlog) Bottle, unfortunately more awesome than the beer inside. Black pour with brown lacing. Roasted, chocolate, dark fruit and boozy flavors.

Rune (12975) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 4, 2014
A small 250ml bottle, 11.2 % abv, shared with Charly and Finn. Bubbly ring to the rim of the glass. Black coloured body with a rustic glint. Attractive aroma of vanilla and dark malts. Delicious taste of chocolate malts, liquorice and dark fruits. Long-lived, bittersweet ending. Full bodied. Bottle from Systembolaget e-besälling. (Tromsø 19.02.2014).

j12601 (12680) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Bottle courtesy of Dany that I took to Andy’s for New Years. Pours a deep black thin tanned beige head. Sweet roast, chocolate and old plum. Medium, oxidized, chewy roast, sweet cocoa, plums. Long cocoa and chocolate. Gentle bitterness.

jredmond (8335) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 2, 2014
Bottle courtesy of Jay, via Dany/GGB, I believe? Pours a deep brownish black with thin tan lacing. Aroma is rich roast, espresso and bitter chocolate. The roast is pretty mild in the flavor though, levaing lots of room for the balance of the beer to really shine. Notes of bitter chocolate, espresso, wood and tobacco compliment each other well, careful not to overpower one another.

Dazz3 (1798) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2013
Bottled. Pours pitch black with no real head. Smells punch, vanilla, arax, chocolate, bourbon. Tastes nutty malty, bourbon, dark chocolate, vanilla, alcohol.

3.6
