UPDATED: DEC 9, 2012 (Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 2 Oct 2010) RIP3. Black colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of strong black cofffee, soy sauce and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, cocoa, soy sauce, raisins and a touch of vanilla. Generous coffee/cocoa bitterness. Full body, slightly oily texture. Fairly sweet. Alcohol well hidden. Lovely porter in excellent balance considering the high abv. Draught at SBWF 2010 (Snickeriet - Monks Cafe). I think it was RIP3 I tried. It poured a very thick black liquid with no foam. Very intense flavour of chocolate and coffee. Also a very high sweetness. A lean back and sip beer.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Near black, no head. Tar, chocolate and molasses dominates the aroma. Sweet and full bodied with dense mouthfeel. Some salt and tobacco, lots of molasses. Salty bittr finish. The alcohol is well hidde, but it feels rather basic and shallow. Molasses gets in the way.
