Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JAN 11, 2010
Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2009. Orange color. Sweet aroma with strawberry, pepper and solvent. Sweet flavor with strawberry, grapefruit, toffee, peppery spiciness and sharp alcohol. Too thick and sharp, no drinkability.

TBone (17519) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 10, 2009
Bottled @SBWF 2009 (BB 05/2010)
Dark orange-brown color, small white head. Aroma has wheat, banana, some sweet diacetyl-like notes, yeasty too. Full-bodied. Liquerish palate. Quite sweet, liquer-like. Strawberry, some glue, raw sugar in the flavor. Sticky.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 15, 2009
[email protected] Hazy orangeish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is wooden, yeasty, mildly earthy and grassy as well as quite strong strawberries and raspberries. Mild junipery notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same. At first a kicking straw- and raspberry flavour, which then turns into earthy and grassy with some herbal notes. Hides the alcohol very well.

Svesse (8595) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 4, 2009
(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 25 Sep 2009) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus and spices (coriander, juniper berries). Fruity, malty, slightly tart taste with notes of citrus, apricots and a spicy finish with coriander and a touch of green apples. More than medium body, balanced sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden. Impressive balance for such a strong saison. Very nice beer.

Draught at the brewpub, Wallingatan location
Batch 56, brewed 2009-04-07

Hazy blond color; creamy head. Strong spicy aroma, also fruity and with some wheat. Good body strength, sweetish malt and wheat flavor, with strong bitterness, the spices are well combined with the alcohol warmth, there is some orange too.
It’s like a mix of Saison and Weizen, but sweetish and full bodied. Unusual but quite good.

omhper (25093) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 24, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Muddy pale orange, airy head. Strong herbal nose, vanilla and juicy oranges. Sweet and rather slim with lots of coriander and alcohol. Spritzy and a bit yeasty with perfumy higher alcohols. Pear marmelade and butterscotch, warming like brandy. Comlex, intense and confusing.

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 22, 2009
Draught at Monks Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Pours out in a shady orange/bronze colored liquid with a dense rocky white head. Dryish yeast and fruity aroma of Seville oranges, funk, spices, cheese, coriander and crackers. Full-bodied with notes of dried oranges, funky yeast, spices and crackers. Long yeasty, funky and warming finish of oranges, dough, pepper, alcohol, grass and crackers.
