Draft pour (yep, draft) at Savannah Bee Co. in Charleston SC. Poured a clear pale golden yellow color. Very traditional tasting with a little carbonation. Interesting addition to the mouthfeel brings out some additional light sweet honey notes. Little bit of floral notes in this one with a lightly herbal finish. jbruner (5673) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 25, 2017
This one was brewed and bottled at Wild Heaven I believe, and now they’re making it at Southern Brewing. Pours a deep copper gold from the bottle with bubbly off-white head that lasts and leaves light lace. Aroma of clean honey wine sweetness, mild light fruitiness, and a touch of wild funk. Taste is more of the wild funk, a sweet middle, and a dry finish. It’s decent for what it is. rdixon77 (3129) - Georgia, USA - JAN 22, 2017
Thanks Danny!! Good fizzy mead, nice balance. More sweet than dry. Easy drinking mead. Good stuff. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Tasting at Savannah Bee at their Broughton St. location in Savannah. Pours a pale gold with small carbonation bubbles. Pleasant aroma of honey with some floral notes. The flavor is honey but not sweet with again some floral notes. Light and effervescent on the palate. No problems. drowland (9191) - Georgia, USA - OCT 6, 2015
10/3/15. Bottle at Bill’s Oktoberfest party! Clear golden with light fizz. Mild sweet aroma, faint floral honey aspect, mild white grape juice. Light flavor, mildly sweet, fizzy, faint floral honey aspect, white grape juice. Not bad, actually. Refreshing and drinkable.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2015 [9/23/2013] Sample at J.U.G.S. Light, bubbly gold, with a minimal, white head. The aroma is light wheat, honey, lavender, and light caramel. The flavor is very sweet. Surprisingly light body, high carbonation, and lightly acidic. Overall, this is a delicious, champagne-like beer. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - JUL 20, 2013
[11/7/2015] Sampled at the Decatur Wine Festival. Flavor is considerably dryer than I recall. The yeast character is reminiscent of a Tripel, or a witbier. Not as crisp as I remembered, but much heavier and creamier.
Lightly hazy golden yellow color with almost no lacing. Honey and apricot in the aroma. Crisp up front but a creamy mid palette. Lingering honey finish with just a slight burn. Cybercat (6444) - Georgia, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Pours a luscious clear golden - no head, but this is mead. Honey aroma has subtle spice hints. Flavor is - oooooooooh, very sweet and yet not cloying, downright scrumptious! Not complex, but very tasty and accompanied by a nip of alcohol. Smooth texture is syrupy and firm. Of all the mead I’ve tried, this is the best.
