Craft Islington bottle share. Thanks to Ade. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Loads of coconut. Loads! Mild dark chocolate. Mild spicy esters. Light dry finish brings still more coconut. Bit one dimensional.

Scopey (16529) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2017
Bottle at Craft Islington share, thanks to Mr Tipple. It pours jet black with a small light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, sweet vanilla, toasted coconut, chocolate, pie and earth. The taste is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malts, charred wood, oily, mocha coffee, chocolate, bounty bar and some alcohol warmth through the finish. Full body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth - fell. Nice toasted coconut vibe. Good one.

Coconut, dark chocolate, bounty bar! Very dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Medium sweet. More coconut, dark bitter chocolate, soft carbonation, medium to full bodied, light alcohol coming up in the finish. Nice Impy, liquid Bounty bar, so maybe a touch too much on the coconut. Bottle from La Botica de la Cerveza, Malaga, shared at CBC Islington tasting.

April 2017 - Bottle share at CBC Islington. Big thanks to Mr Tipple. As ’Monsieur Gordo Choconut’. Opaque black with a foamy brown head, light lacing. Aroma is roasted coconut, macaroons, a touch soapy. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is huge on the coconut macaroons, dark chocolate Bounty Bar, quite a lot of booze showing up. Ridiculously coconuty. Tasty. (3.9)
