33cl bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais. Clear blond beer with a thin white head. Some hop and golden syrup on aroma. Slightly lemony blond, some herb. Ok, standard blond, nothing too interesting, no real character.

330ml bottle. Golden body, white head. Honey malts on the nose and tongue with light fruity and spicy elements (oranges mainly). Light bitter hop finish. Medium body and carbonation. Rather like a Belgian Blonde.

Aroma: The nose has some spice, a little grass, yeast, and caramel malts
Appearance: It pours an unclear gold-orange, with small white head and spotty lace
Flavor: This one tastes medium sweet, with a light zesty hop bitterness on finish
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a clean feel, soft carbonation, and lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: This one exceeded my expectations for sure. I was expecting a boring blond, but what I got was much better then that. The malts are nicely balanced by a light, but zesty hop presence that just works. This was a perfect example of a beer that a non-beer lover might order that has enough character for beer lovers to enjoy it too.

Pour is a clear gold with a white fizzy head that vanishes fast. Aroma is some grain and sweet malt. Not much there. Flavor is about the same. Some pils like malt with some minor sweet citrus fruit. Finish is watery and thin. This was kind of bland and really thin.

fonefan (48632) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 12, 2012
