UPDATED: JUN 8, 2004 Bottled. Pale golden with rich creamy head. Pineapple aroma. Sweet, fruity and cottony mild. Rich in flavour, notes of toffee and citrus. Low bitterness. An interesting, well balanced little beer.

A very easy drinking brew without a whole lot of alcohol. Nicely carbonated slightly cloudyt yellow beer with a very nice head. Perfect beer to drink on an nice summer evening with a group of friiends.

Bottle from King&Godfree. Nice and yeasty. Aromas of bread and orange peel; with hints of caramel. Taste is sweet, with average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Dark yellow, with a thin head.

Aroma: The nose has some spice, a little grass, yeast, and caramel malts

Appearance: It pours an unclear gold-orange, with small white head and spotty lace

Flavor: This one tastes medium sweet, with a light zesty hop bitterness on finish

Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a clean feel, soft carbonation, and lightly dry finish

Overall Impression:
This one exceeded my expectations for sure. I was expecting a boring blond, but what I got was much better then that. The malts are nicely balanced by a light, but zesty hop presence that just works. This was a perfect example of a beer that a non-beer lover might order that has enough character for beer lovers to enjoy it too.

Pour is one of the best I have ever seen. Rivals duvel very much so. The smell is nice, it is vibrant and peppery ,hint of licorice spice and citrus. The flavor is nice, bready, touch of hops, slight metal, licorice. Licorice is cloying a bit in the finish but it remains fairly crisp. I like it.
