Sample from bottle at La Cave à Bulles during Mont Salève tasting (Paris Beer Week). Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small persistent white head and little lacing. Aroma is of fruity hops, grapefruits, malty notes and grassy presence. Taste is also mainly fruity with a good malt backbone, grassy notes, light caramel and light bitterness. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Dry finish. Super tasty for such a low abv beer. You would never notice that it’s only 2.5% abv. It’s super drinkable and quenching while being quite hoppy. I’m really impressed by Mont Salève light beers so far (this one and Mozaic Black Bitter).

24.05.2014, 0,33l bottle sampled @ HaandFestival:
Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet moldy - typical sorachi; dried tropical fruits, grapefruit, mold, grass, moss, light malts, soil, hints of coconut. Taste is slightly dry grassy, leafs, bark, moss, mold, soil, lawn, hops, hints of tropical fruits. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Very nice for being only 2,5%.

On tap at Haand 14. Golden/ orange hazy with sediments and good foam. Aromas of hops, some pine, lime and ok fruitiness. Medium body & complexity . Solid bitterness. Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ tasting, courtesy of Zer0. Pours a hazy blonde beer with a medium sized white head on top. Aroma is herbal, buttery and grassy. Defintely Soriachi Ace present. Flavor is very bitter and full bodied. Has some herbal after touches with a bitter aftertaste. Long lasting. Nice beer.

Bottle shared at mrhangover’s place at his epic Eclipse tasting. Pours cloudy golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is big butterscotch, herbal, spices and some citrus. Moderate bitter and light sweet. Light body with high carbonation. Decent beer considering its ABV.

Pours a very murky light yellow with a fluffy head. Huge aroma of pine, orange, tropical fruit. Big bitter kick, piney and a little bit of lemon. Bitterness is a little overwhelming but taste is good for such low alcohol.

ClubGonzo (5668) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2013
Bottle from Les Fleurs du Malt (the shop), Lyon, France. Pours a hazy straw yellow body with a large, long-lasting white head. The aroma comes right out of the glass and is discernible at least half a meter away: freshly cut grass, pine, oranges, citric peel and hints of herbs and hay. Nice. Taste is spicy herbal pine notes with some citric peel and a long resinous bitter finish that just carries on and on, eventually turning a bit medicinal but still being very piney and herbal. Light body, medium carbonation. Refreshing and aromatic, but a bit too bitter and thus also a bit unbalanced in my opinion. Pretty nice though.
