Bière unique dégusté à l’arène des bières. On retrouve toutes les saveurs des stouts du mont salève avec ce goût tourbée. Maginifique en bouche réservée aux amateurs. Merci

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Black, small mocha bubbles. Nose is wow, iodine, huge peat, salt, mineral, light chocolate in the back but mainly huge peat; Taste is peat, charcoal, charred earth, medicinal, iodine, scorched earth, black chocolate. Thick malt, creamy,… Well-done but too peated for me to fully embrace.

Bottle shared at a tasting at our place. Black, with dark brown head. Peaty, petrol and ashtray in the nose, peaty, light bitterness and lots of smoke in the mouth. Sleek, medium-bodied, peaty finish. Awesome.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Dark brown with a beige head. Very peaty smoky aroma. Malty flavor, sweetish, with caramel, lots of peaty smokiness, some meaty smokiness and a dry finish. Medium-bodied. Very smoky, leaves your mouth feeling like an ashtray - pretty nice.

Bottle shared by Tom. Black brown pour with thin head that disappears. Aroma is so peaty and smoky. Ouch. Taste has a thin silver lining of sweetness, but apart from that all is peat, smoke and iodine. Like the best of the worst scotches. Palate is pretty average, medium bodied and averaged carbed. Not very easy drinking.

Bottle (330 ml). Dark brown with a small beige head and little lacing. Aroma is heavily peated with light caramel and hints of floral. Taste is also heavily peated with light sweetness and a tad of caramel. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Sticky finish. Unbalanced and straightforward. No complexity. The peat take all the place.
