@Fête de la Bière 2016, Vevey - black beer with no foam, fairly roasted chocolaty aroma; quite sweet and with a moderate carbonation; sweetish lactic, chocolaty and biscuit aftertaste

Bottle from eebria shared with Stuu666. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of chocolate milk, faint dark stone fruit. Taste is plum and chocolate. Thin texture, prickly carbonation. Dry finish.

Draft @ Tilquin English Fest ’16, courtesy of and shared with the fine Belgian RB crew.

30/IV/16 - on tap @ Tilquin English Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2016-463) Thanks to the Belgian Ratebeer Crew (and Beerhunter111) for sharing today’s beers!

Clear very dark brown beer, small creamy beige to brown head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, sweet, some caramel, mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: coffee, lots of roasted malts, bitter, bit malty. Aftertaste: bit sourish, lots of roast, some charcoal, slightly sweet, mocha touch.

JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - MAY 1, 2016
Draught; Sample a bit tired No head left, brown-black beer. Sweet nose with wheat and lots of ureum, lactic acid, liquorice, condensed milk. Roasted, slightly smokey, ashes, yet sweet - lactose? Well-bodied, thick, but feeling lighter in the finish. Decent.

3.6
jaghana (6283) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - MAY 7, 2016
Bottle 33cl, a dark beer with medium head. Nose is on roasted malt and dark chocolate, aroma is on the same, not that sweet, less licorice and sweet notes compared to other milk stout. Anyway a robust stout, properly done, quite tasty for the alcohol level, long duration on aftertaste.

3.7
ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - JUN 14, 2016
33cl bottle. Deep black colour with a thin tan head. Roasted malts, caramel, chocolate and coffee in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to full body. Taste is low bitter with coffee and chocolate notes. Overall, a good beer.
