(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby colour with a light-brown and tall foamy head. Belgian-yeast character, fruity and spicy aroma with notes of cacao and cinnamon on a slightly roasted malty background. Slightly sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly roasted malty base with berry-fruity notes and shades of cacao; slightly roasty bitter and sour-fruity finish. A strange but surely Belgian Porter. 24.VI.11 DutchDrebus (6048) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUL 16, 2011

Very dark brown, beige, light brown head. Sticks good, could hold a bit longer. Sweet, light bitter roasted coffee-chocolate, dark fruits. A bit outbalanced, the sweetness is a bit unpleasant, a lot of carbonation making the mouthfeel less good. A bit earthy and dry at the end. sebletitje (10178) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 24, 2011

Pours deep red chestnut with a medium, frothy, beige head. Aroma has light berries, mild roasted astringency, chocolate, plums and a bit of milk and lactic acid. Highish carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour has mild lactic acid, lactose, chocolate. Dry, bitter and grainy with a bit of fruitiness in the end. Not sure the lactic acid was supposed to be there. Still it was quite drinkable.
Thanks to Kristina for this rare tick... Looks good, dark drown with a big light tan head, great retention... Nice nose of chocolate... The taste is off as this is too carbonated, horrible mouthfeel. Alcohol and chocolate notes of taste are fine, just too distracted on the feel. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAR 17, 2011
