Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dusty chocolate, moderate hoppy, grass, light to moderate yeasty, leather. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, dark malt, dusty chocolate, funky. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught at Zythos Beer Festival 2010. Dark reddish maroon, double head with small and large bubbles. Aroma of smoky caramel malt and raisins. Taste has port wine, grapes, dates, burnt espresso. Very nice.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque dark brown with an orange hue and a beige head - comes a heavy gusher. Roasty nose, some dark fruit and quite a tart edge.
