Draft in downtown Billings... Pours clear deep amber/brown .. Nutty with a drier malty component... Definitely seems like a Northern English brew.. Light fruity note if I concentrate... a light biscuity element with warmth. Good beer.. but I doubt I will go back to MBC again.. Pretty crappy service. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - AUG 30, 2013
On tap. Dark brown pour with a tan head. Scent is roasted malts and chocolate. Taste earthy, with chocolate and nuts. Nice jake65 (3695) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - APR 26, 2012
Draft: Deep, translucent chestnut brown pour with a finger of creamy tan head. Mild nose is roasty, toasty chocolate malts. The cocoa gets a little stronger as it warms. Flavor is chocolate malts, light roast, a bit earthy, and lightly bittersweet. Has that English Brown Ale yeast signature. Just a little bit metallic. Creamy mouthful. Good.
