(750ml bottle) Pours a murky maize body with a medium fizzy white head. Aroma of florals, grape skins, grain, and horse blanket. Flavor of florals, orange, brett, oak, earth, and light medicinal with a dry finish.

Appearance: very hazy/cloudy dark gold, with one finger of near white head and average lacing. Aroma: slightly musty grain, some cracker, honey, and yeasty spice, with a hint of white grapes and apricots. Taste: a bit wheaty, with some notes of grapes, apple, rice, barnyard, pear, and a bit of honey. Finish: clean, slightly tart and a bit dry, like white wine. Notes: Ordered online for a beer pairing dinner, specifically for the Italy course. Really glad I did; this was the hit of the evening. Really balanced, delicious, and unique. A bit like a saison mixed with a champagne.

On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a F. Great beer. Aromas of caramel, butter, with hints of flowers. Taste is sweet, with light sourness, and long length. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Yellow, with a thin head.

Note duva e di malti. Chiude con un lieve amaro erbaceo. Birra elegante, complessa e davvero ben fatta. Montegioco sta acquisendo tantissimi punti nella mia personale scala di valutazione. Ottima, provatela.

Tap at Ma Che, Trastevere, Roma - 02/10/12. Very hazy golden with a big bubbly white head. Nose comes across with a little soap, light citrus, hops and spice. Tastes of soft fruits, grapes, light hop tones, a little dried fruit and bread. Fuller end of medium bodied with soft carbonation and a little alcohol in the finish.

13/09/2012 Ma che siete venuti a f (tap). Dorata, opalescente, torbida, schiuma abbondantissima, abbastanza persistente. Naso molto delicato, sentori di lieviti e uva dolce. In bocca dolciastra, lievemente acidula, mostra qualche difetto di giovent, si intuisce che una birra dal potenziale molto elevato e di grande eleganza. Corpo medio, buona carbonazione. Non era in forma splendida, mi piacerebbe riprovarla.

Pours a dark golden orange color with tangerine edges and a two finger pillowy white foam head. Good retention, only slowly fading into a thick, lasting ring. Soapy lacing left behind. Earthy aroma with some musty barnyrad funk along with estery light fruits, peppery spice and a strong vinous grape presence. Hints of bready yeast and peppery spice followed by light grapes, apple, pear and booze. Medium bodied wih delicate carbonation and a nice balance of zesty spice, bready yeast, estery fruit notes and grape juice. Slight funky with musty grape skin flavor along with peppey spice and bready yeast which adds fullness to the palate. Some boozy sweetness with hits of pear and vinous grapes. Sweeter than open mind with more fruit than just grape/wine character.
