Tap tasted on 05/07/2014. Drak brown ale with a creamy and persistent white head. Aroma is fruity and sugar. Taste is complex, with vainilla, dark fruits and malts. Nice carbonation and easy to drink. The alcohol is well balanced. Next one please! Wolfbass (1158) - Firenze, ITALY - MAR 21, 2014
Color nero impenetrabile con schiuma caffèlatte. Al naso subito evidente la tostatura. In bocca è davvero ottima, calda, avvolgente, cremosa e molto tostata. Finale decisamente amaro. Ragnampiza (751) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - MAR 2, 2014
2013 vintage (9% ABV instead of 8.5%), 330 ml bottle from ArtigianBeer served in a Teku glass. Pitch black, absolutely no light passing through, with an average light brown head which doesn’t last very long. Rich and inviting aroma, some light spices (cinnamon and vanilla), toasted malts, blackberries and dark fruits, milk chocolate and espresso coffee. Difficult to consider it a classic barley wine, since there are so many RIS/Imperial Porter qualities in this beer, but it’s certainly less bitter, more sweet, and definitely more balanced, elegant and harmonius. Slightly fruity, again blackberries but also notes of raisins/plumbs, ending with a pleasent white chocolate and coffee aftertaste. No trace of the alchool at all, which is both amazing and scary for how drinkable it is. Soft carbonation, medium to full body and oily texture. Great! Buongiorgio00 (934) - - JAN 12, 2014
Fin (10470) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2013
Bottle from Colin (Theydon Bois) had this Tuesday 25th December 2013 at dads Pours very dark brown with light beige head. A little caramel bit of vanilla, nice nose but very gentle. Easy drinking, smooth, soft in the mouth with fine dusty cocoa finish. I like this another interesting Imperial Stout. A7 A4 T8 P3 Ov15 3.7

Bottle from Domus Birrae in Roma based on recommendation from the guy running the place. The beer pours dark brown with a medium thick foamy tan head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit and coffee. Medium to full body with flavors of roast malt, figs, coffee and earthy hops. The finish is malty with a dark fruit aftertaste. Pretty good beer all around. TBone (17434) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 28, 2013

Opaque black color, good creamy brownish head, lace. Strong toasted aroma, coffee, chocolate. Soft palate, full-bodied. Creamy chocolate, a bit ashy, tobacco ... Nice toasted and smooth flavor, not alcoholic at all. Excellent.
