Dark Brown in color. Kind of muddled. Nutty. Like a huge nut brown ale. Big malts. Buttery, sweet, salty, but with some bitter hops. Interesting beer that I don’t find overly pleasant to drink. Pretty good but not great. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 25, 2010
Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate and dried fruits, especially dates. Sweet fruity flavour with chocolate, somewhat cloying Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2010

8th and final beer at the Finalmente Italian Beer Tasting in Sleepy Hollow, NY. This beer pours dark brown, tastes slighty sour with plenty of cherries and black berries, with some chocolate. great finish to a free beer tasting. glad my heritage is jumping in beer scene. deyholla (11609) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 9, 2010
Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a bubbly dark brown head that dissipated quickly. Aroma has notes of dark grains with a strong alcohol undertone. Flavor is full of dark grains and a bit of dark bread as well. The alcohol is less present and the beer is quite smooth. A lot of sediment at the bottom.

This one is a good few years old. Bran flakes an blackberries on the nose. Sweet black cherries fil the mouth entirely. Absolutely beautiful subtle and smooth. No hint of the alcohol at all. Cherries, cherries, cherries. Crazy drinkable. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2010

Very dark brown beer with a thin tan head. Hard to pin down. Slightly sour like a porter but has a chocolatey character. Like a hybrid of a porter and a Belgian brown. Dry finish with a sour malt aftertaste and a little chocolate too. Unusual!
Bottle. Blackish beer with a tan head. Chocolate and malt aroma. Chocolate and rich malt flavor with light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Chocolate, malt, and light yeat lingers. santinogbr (1) - ITALY - DEC 31, 2009 does not count
dark, toasted but fruity almost sweet old ale with some sour points and medium body, very tasty and good complexity. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - DEC 12, 2009
Thanks to whomever brought this to the Bruery’s Christmas 2009 Show and Tell. This dark brown pour had a roasty flavor with a touch of sweetness.
