Bottle at home ... from my GBBF haul ... rich sweet vinoues malt nose ... not really a barley wine nose ... sweet rich plums ... heavy malt ... toasted oats ... quite sweet ... medium bitter ... medium carbonation ... bit too heavy and intense... omhper (25744) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2009
Bottled. Mahogany colour, minimal head. Caraelly and very sweet. Near full bodied with wll rounded mouthfeel. Toff overpowers everything in its way, coffee lures behind. Like a too sweet, warming cushion of toffee. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2010

Very dark brown beer with a thin tan head. Hard to pin down. Slightly sour like a porter but has a chocolatey character. Like a hybrid of a porter and a Belgian brown. Dry finish with a sour malt aftertaste and a little chocolate too. Unusual!
