Flaska. Oklar röd-orange med ett medelstort smutsvitt skum. Dofter och smaker av frukt, jäst, karamell, trä och malt. I smaken hittas också honung. Värmande alkohol. Trevlig.

Hazy deep copperish Amber. The head starts out fluffy but recedes quickly. Rich nose of dates and cherries and dark Belgian malt and a fair bit of Belgian candi sugar and a touch of booze warmth. Big rich flavor that’s smooth and a little alcoholic but not burning or even warm, just kind of mellow. Smooth dark Belgian stone fruity tones, candy sugar, Belgian plummy malts, light cherry, light currant, light pear/apple, and a Belgian malty finish. Really wonderful.

33 cl bottle from Tanakaya. 9.1%. Vinous nose, chestnuts, chocolate, caramel, honey, apricots/plums, and grapes. Very complex, with the Belgian yeast pulling it together nicely. Lovely, shiny reddish brown with a full, rocky head. Richly malty and very fruity. Not overly sweet, dry, with a very bitter finish. Raisins, chestnuts, plums, light orange. Excellent stuff. Very rich and yet very fruity and not cloying at all. Up there with the best Belgian-made beers of this strength. Full, smooth body.
