Demon Hunter an intense beer with great complexity. It is of amber color with a persistent head. the nose has notes of chestnut trees, mature plums, grapes and caramel. The pepper compliments the light herb notes from the hops. The flavor starts with a taste of honey and is finishes on a beautifully hop note. Demon Hunter is brewed using malt and hops. The alcoholic content obtained from the fermentation of the malt is of 8 % in volume, while the final one is 8.5 % in volume. Demon Hunter is matured for 15 weeks.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks kerenmk. Hazy orange amber color. Smell of candy, yeast and fruity esters. Sweet sugary flavors of honey, candy and alcohol. Medium-bodied, sticky, quite hard to drink.

At a tasting, small bubbly head, cloudy rusty orange to very light brown color, honey and wax aroma with some candy in the back, flavor of manure and a strange spiciness with some dried fruits in the back as the beers warms up, very sweet and alcoholic. Over the top, almost undrinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at tomer’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Hazy orange. Aroma of cardboard, fruitiness, a bit of honey. Sweet flavor with honey, cardboard, fruitiness, and a bit of alcohol in a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

750ml in Peja, Kosovo. So great, Alberto! Rosy bright red, thick soapy foam. Great bright aroma. Finishes darker caramel than expected. Some alcohol richness. Some smokiness to malts too. Dry finish. Really lovely.

Owl Farm, Brooklyn tap: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is dark fruit, earthiness, a little bit of alcohol, and some yeast. Taste is a little bit sweet. Plenty of fruitiness and earthiness. It is more subdued than one might have expected. That said it was good.

A loud pop when I popped the cap, which has a curious plastic cylinder thingy attached to it. Hazy copper coloured with plenty of sediment floating around. The smell is big on toasted malt with side notes of Belgian yeast and some conglomerate of spices. The taste is spicy, again, not easy to distinguish which, with toasted malt, Belgian yeast...maybe that spice is or at least reminds me of rye. No mention of rye in the beer’s description but that won’t stop me from mentioning it. This also has a dankness and earthiness to it. And the finish? I get light fruity tones that make it on the dry side. Okay, this beer really has me befuddled; I’m now getting hints of horse blanket as it warms up and you probably know what that would suggest. Overall, I’d say smell wins over taste. This is weird and I will just have to let the cards fall where they may. If you see bottles of it, give it a go.

On tap at the King Arthur pub in Rome-Italy. Pours a great hazy amber/copper colour, off white head which leaves lacing and drafts. Nose: dry fruit, hint of caramel, fresh candy sugar. Mouth: medium carbonation, round sweetness, molasses. Very balanced and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Kosmokrator (849) - ITALY - SEP 6, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2015 Alla spina. Corpo medio, abv ben mascherato, effervescenza gentile, struttura leggermente oleosa.
