Strepitosa, non so come altro definirla! Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 25, 2008
Pours red with a nice white head. Smells of caramel, lots of fruit, some sugary hints. Tastes of sweet malt, hints of oak, fruit, (peaches, citrus, cherries). Mouthfeel is velvety. Finish yields more refreshing fruit qualities and some nice spicy hints. This is really enjoyable and interesting. drpimento (3641) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 22, 2010
Pretty interesting beer. Poured with a small to medium sized light tan head and a little lace.Color is a hazy/cloudy medium brown amber. Aroma is different with honey malt tobacco tree bark dark ripe fruits. Flavor is like aroma and more sweet plus plums and a bit of cherry. Body is full round rich with good carbonation. Finish is like a tapering flavor. Not a session. MarcoGori (10) - ITALY - NOV 13, 2014
Belgian strong ale abbastanza classica, adatta ad accompagnare cibi dal gusto deciso, sul finale si rivela un po’ più amara JCapriotti (1379) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 13, 2006
Creamy dusty light tan head graces this murky dark rust body. Can you tell I like the way it looks?
Whoa, the aroma just changed on me. Light dusty smoke hint, some used motor oil or gasoline (or model glue like Dave suggests). Its like a strong yeast-infused hops with some biere de garde style earthy malt.
Same with the flavor. Earthy wood, sweet fruits, gourmet honey, husky grains, maybe some champagne, good stuff!

Smells very very woody. Cedar maybe. Flavor isn’t quite as good as the aroma. Had nice spice beginning, but the finish is a little bit odd. MrGGen (334) - ITALY - JUN 13, 2009
Colore ambrato carico con una bella schiuma beige, aroma fruttato con note di caramello e caffè.In bocca è frizzante e ribadisce il caffè e caramello percepiti al naso.Buona. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2010
Cloudy amber with good, creamy, beige head / Nose of sour malt, lemon, and herbal notes / Medium body, malty but with good balance and lightly bitter finish / Flavors of sour malt, chestnuts, almond, caramel, and brett, with citrus notes / Big nut flavor. onceblind (9708) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 3, 2016
Hazy deep copperish Amber. The head starts out fluffy but recedes quickly. Rich nose of dates and cherries and dark Belgian malt and a fair bit of Belgian candi sugar and a touch of booze warmth. Big rich flavor that’s smooth and a little alcoholic but not burning or even warm, just kind of mellow. Smooth dark Belgian stone fruity tones, candy sugar, Belgian plummy malts, light cherry, light currant, light pear/apple, and a Belgian malty finish. Really wonderful. 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 13, 2006
Thanks Chuck. The beer pours to a very hazy chestnut colored body with a thin light khaki head. The aroma has a bunch of different things going on in it. Some bananas, light cinnamon, some watermelon rind, and light honey coated caramel malt. The flavor is intensely toasted malts. Notes of nutmeg, toffee, some bitter components. Nicely mixed. Very interesting. The palate is rich and lightly bitter with some nice creaminess.
