12.7 oz bottle. Opens with a loud pop. Foggy brown with a thick, foamy white head. Nose is apple, cherry and toffee with a hint of citrus. Medium light with a tingle. Taste is sweet and sour lemon and tangerine peel. A touch of spoiled peach. Dry, woody, bitter grass finish. fredandboboflo (1570) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 17, 2009
Bottle. Aroma of musty yeast, vaguely barnyardy notes, dried fruits, citrus, apricot. Flavor shows nice levels of acidity with increasing pineapple and citrus character, some playful hoppy bitterness, butterfinger. Mildly sour, mildly dry. Tasty. Bottle thanks to Beerlando. Pours a cloudy light brown with a thick white head. Aroma is lightly sour with some sweet wine notes and earthiness. Flavor has some sour cherry notes, light oak barrel, and a nice sour and tart background. Not acidic at all--very nice palate. Quite enjoyable!

Bottle... mgumby10’s & hopscotch’s Watching the Final Four from Face Down on the Floor Throwdown!... Murky orange ale with a huge, creamy, off-white head. Permanent retention. The fruity, earthy, lactic aroma provides notes of wood, citrus and funk. Medium to full-bodied with prickly carbonation. Tart, citric, lightly woodsy flavor. Lengthy, sweet-tart finish that bitters up and dries out at the very end.

Bottle. Poured a medium cloudy blond. Nose had some sour notes, sweetness, and the barrel aging was apparent. Flavor was similar, was very mildly sour, with lots of malt flavor. Nicely carbonated with a sweet and spicy finish. Nice interesting beer. mgumby10 (1856) - Jupiter, Florida, USA - APR 5, 2009
Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a dark copper color, with a medium off white head. Smells of acidic fruits, caramel malt, oak, and yeast mostly. Dug the nose quite a bit. The flavor had a good bit of acidity to it an came of fairly sour. Very sharp and biting on the palate. The oakiness and fruitiness of it, along with a nice big malt presence, kept it balanced and easy to drink. Pretty complex overall, finish left tartness and sweetness on the tongue. Tasty brew. Slightly cloudy amber color with a thin stark white head. Slight malic fruity aroma, mild funk, some lighter grain underneath. Slight funky sharp start yields to a fruity base. Not terribly complex, but still nice. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - MAR 21, 2009
Poured a hazed orange amber color with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma was a mix of spices and wild yeast. Woody with some fruity malt. The flavor was woody and fruity with some vanilla notes. Light warmth and a light-medium body. Tasty stuff. JoeMcPhee (9517) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 21, 2009
Thanks to goldtwins for sharing. Deep cloudy amber beer with a very creamy white head. Aroma is quite nice. Very oaky with a lot of soft vineous fruitiness. A little bit of peppery character. Strong estery aroma. The flavour shows strong Belgian malts that have dried out quite a bit in the barrel and a chewy fruitiness as well. Fairly vineous with lots of oak flavour as well. It’s hefty, but complex and enjoyable.
