Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is has a lot of brett character combined with notes of malt, caramel and wood. The flavor is sweet malty with lighter notes of brettanomyces and wood, leading to a dry and slightly tart finish. Nice. Thanks yespr for sharing. joergen (29378) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2009

Cloudy orange brown beer. Frothy white head. Dry frothy palate. Sourish malt with a trace of water chesnuts. A little oakiness but nothing sweet. Some mild aniseed and spice in the finish. Warming afterglow.
(Bottle 37,5 cl.) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Tart, Brettish aroma. Quite full-bodied with a somewhat low carbonation, extremely sweet fruit and a strange acidity. This beer points in many different directions, but I actually find it quite interesting - but harmonious? No! I take it that the Bretty aroma was intended. 200608 Koelschtrinker (21834) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - OCT 31, 2013

Cloudy amber color; creamy head. It’s a good Belgian Ale, with a balance between sweetness, malt, fruitness. Indeed the aroma is a bit vinous, and with very light vanilla too. Good mouthfeel, with a light astringency from the cask ageing. Very good.
Thick tar-like pour. Small off-white head. Complex taste. Very acidic and sour. Some breads, caramel and fruits. Rated 4/6/10
